A month or so after our trip to Hilton Head Island, SC, Ryan, Payton, and I took a trip to Destin, FL with some close friends of ours. It was a fairly short trip, (Wednesday-Sunday) but we had a great time none the less. We've really been trying to do a lot this summer, given that it's our last as a family of three. Payton did great in the car! We only had to stop 1 time on the way home!! I am not sure how this happened given that I was 6 1/2 months pregnant and that Payton is experimenting with potty training. We were definitely blessed with a great little traveler! Speaking of riding in the car, we finally upgraded from a car to a SUV, due to new baby arriving soon. Boy, am I loving the third row seat and all the space the thing has!! I never realized what I was missing, and I'm not sure we could have driven the 11 hour drive with all of our belongings for the week without it. Below I have attached some pictures from our trip.

It was so nice getting to catch up with good friends, and we are hoping to make it a tradition! It will be so fun to watch the girls grow and change from summer to summer.
