The Legg Family- Ryan, Holly, Payton, and Elin: June 2011

Miss Payton and I have so been enjoying our summer days together! We just got back from our first trip to the beach and she seemed to surprisingly really enjoy it. Ryan and I were a little nervous about taking her that far in the car, but our little angel did fantastic, sleeping most of the time in the car. :) As Payton gets older, it seems like she continues to make normal everyday things so much more fun! I mean, Ryan and I are now perfectly content staying at home on the weekend nights enjoying bath time and tummy time, while cheering for our little princess to roll over! (Which she has done 1 time by the way, and I think I felt more proud that moment than I did when I graduated college! LOL!) Funny how things change! She seems to always make the joys of motherhood far exceed my expectations.

Payton Elaine will be three months this Sunday, and I sometimes get teary-eyed when I step back and think about how much she has already grown. It honestly seems like we just woke up one day, and she was more like a growing baby instead of a fragile little infant. She is now starting to giggle and it is definitely humorous to watch all the silly faces and sounds Ryan and I make at her just to see that precious grin! Oh, I really think God must be showing us a little glimpse of heaven in that smile!!!!!!
